Tabata while Optimizing Final Fantasy XV on Low-End PC

Like a dream come true, this may be the feeling of most PC gamers when faced with the announcement of Final Fantasy XV release to PC some time ago. Unlike the console versions that offer limited performance in some aspects, Square Enix via Hajime Tabata promises a more optimal experience. From higher resolution support, better framerate, and additional new features - like first person mode, for example. Although at the beginning of the demo, the Luminous Engine-based Final Fantasy XV demands a high PC specification, Square Enix still affirms their commitment to ensure this RPG action game can be played in most PC configurations. Including those that have low specifications though.

This is what Tabata disclosed in his interview with the site - MCVUK. Tabata openly mentioned that the PC version development process feels 100x easier than the console version. Why? Because they do not have to build everything from zero again. It is also what makes them optimistic to release this PC version in early 2018, despite the fact that they have only been working on it for the past year.
One interesting thing, Tabata re-affirm commitment to ensure this game can run in a weaker PC configuration. Currently, Final Fantasy XV team is working hard to make this game can run on low-spec PC. Tabata understands that ensuring optimal gaming across a variety of specifications is something essential to appeal to the PC gamer market globally. Final Fantasy XV he mentioned, is now running well in high-end, and they are in the process of pushing the best setting in low-end. He also added that the First Person mode is now completed about 50%.

Final Fantasy XV PC version itself is planned to be released in early 2018, but still without a definite release date, and there is no official specification details are required.
