Microsoft Insert Easter Egg into XBOX One X

Easter Egg, parody and cameo is generally a natural thing in the game. Sometimes a developer inserts a character from another game for their latest game. Microsoft also did not forget to insert easter egg, but not on their game but on their console, XBOX One X.

Youtube Channel named Unocero is following a tour by Microsoft called Microsoft Campus located in Seattle. On the tour that followed, they got a chance to unload the latest console Microsoft, XBOX One X. And that's when they found an easter egg that will not be expected by the owner XBOX One X.

On a circuit board embedded inside One X, a picture of a figure that has been known for a long time by XBOX gamers, Master Chief or often called "The HALO Guy" as a joke. The Master Chief hiding inside One X was seen riding a scorpion that was almost his size.

Easter Egg is considered unique and invites some questions. Why the Master Chief and why is he riding a scorpion?

Master Chief figures are selected by Microsoft as an 'unofficial' icon for XBOX. The reason, XBOX never has a mascot for their console, and one of their games, HALO, is the best known FPS game by the public. Until now, HALO is still and will remain the exclusive game for XBOX.

For the selection of the scorpions themselves, XBOX One X was previously named Project Scorpio at the time of its development, and the word Scorpio itself has the meaning of scorpion. In addition, the reason why the Master Chief boarded the scorpion could have been because one of the Tank vehicles owned by Master Chief in the HALO game had the Scorpions name.

Easter Egg Master Chief riding a scorpion is also not the only easter egg that is present in XBOX, because Microsoft previously also insert easter egg on XBOX console One S. The difference, the One S Master Chief just appear alone. This discovery is based on a tutorial to unload XBOX One S by iFixit.
