Age of Empires Definitive Edition Delayed Until Early 2018

Microsoft delayed the release of this game.
The sad news comes for RTS game fans out there, Microsoft has just announced that Age of Empires: Definitive Edition postponed its release until early 2018

The remastered game Age of Empires series is planned to be present not only as a regular remastered game. Microsoft intends to not only recreate the game but also re-create the experience that this game has ever presented in its previous series.

Along with the delay, Microsoft announces that it will be a closed beta title to test all the features available in the game, from single player campaign, multiplayer balancing, and others. They will also collect feedback provided by the players in order to provide all the things that players want in this game.

Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is a remastered game of the Age of Empires series with new visuals, zooming features, all the remastered soundtracks, and improved gameplay. Some new features like 250-300 population limit, Attack Move, Rally Point Basic, Contextual Rally Point (Smarter Villager), and other new features.

Microsoft has no plans to release Age of Empires: Definitive Edition in Steam or GOG, which means this game will be released exclusively for Windows Store only.
