Denuvo is unlucky right now. Total War Warhammer 2, FIFA 18, Shadow of War a few days ago became the center of media attention after their protection was broken into within a day. Killing spree from this anti-Denuvo hacker team even made Bethesda unleash Denuvo from The Evil Within 2 minutes before its release. This time, the RPG game from Ubisoft is South Park: The Fractured But Whole is the new victim of the hacking team, and just like Total War Warhammer 2 et al, the game is broken into one day.
Collaboration between two teams of hackers namely Steampunks and Codex make Denuvo protection along with DRM Uplay installed in this game is easily conquered. South Park: The Fractured But Whole is rumored to still use the V4.6 version which is a hacked version easily by hacking teams. This is a sign for the Denuvo to immediately renew their protection if this does not happen
On the other side, South Park: The Fractured But Whole sold 56 thousand - 83 thousand copies based on data from Steam Spy. A good enough number for the first day of the game was released.
