Hajime Tabata: Final Fantasy XV More Easier to Developed on PC

As we have seen, Final Fantasy XV will be released on PC next year. The PC version will get support up to 8K resolution and according to Final Fantasy XV's own director, Hajime Tabata says that Final Fantasy XV development is much easier to develop on PC, how easy? More easier 100 times than to make it from beginning, as quoted from MCV.
Surely video game porting is easier than having to make it from scratch, but Tabata's team still has plenty of other work for Final Fantasy XV before it's released next year on PC, leaving them with little time left before it's released. With a much better feature of the console, the PC version of Final Fantasy XV really offers a superior version of the game in terms of technology. The Square-Enix team is currently working on the first-person mode feature and 50% of it is done.
Another challenge facing Tabata and his team is that Final Fantasy XV can run on low-specification PCs. Tabata says that the PC global market requires Final Fantasy XV to run on some PC specifications, and they want to answer that challenge by providing portable runs on various PC specs owned by gamers out there.

"Players will get completely changed games from various aspects, as we have provided the best quality of this game compared to console versions. And if we can really fulfill the request, then the work we do today will not be in vain." - Hajime Tabata

Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition will be released early 2018 for PC via Steam and Windows Store.
