Star Citizen - Squadron 42 "Single Player" Not Released This Year

If we talk about the most ambitious games of the moment, then the Star Citizen name of the Cloud Imperium Games seems appropriate to get into the highest list. Regardless of the never-down hype and popularity, which is also reflected in fundraising development that continues to touch fantastic numbers, the developer never able to provide certainty when interested gamers will be able to test the final version directly. Star Citizen actually has a single-player mode with a solid story they call the "Squadron 42". But speculation that he will be released before the end of 2017 also seems to fail.

The wait for the 42 Squadron which certainly contains many of the top actors in it seems to be getting longer. Why? Referring to Cloud Imperium Games's newly launched Cloud Imperium Games plan, the single-player mode for Star Citizen is unlikely to be released in 2017. CIG ensures that they will not show Squadron 42 at CitizenCon to be held later this month. Instead, they will show it through the live-streaming session of December 2017 later, to show a preview of the gameplay as well as a definite roadmap to complete it.

CIG asserts that they currently have a great team that is working on Squadron 42. They are ambitious to offer a similar attraction to their old game-style narrative - Wing Commander, but take it to a higher level. Squadron 42 will allow gamers to act as infantry, vehicles, with locations to be rendered to the promised quality, equivalent to the cinematic scene in the latest release games. CIG optimistic Squadron 42 will be same with other AAA game releases.
