Discord Launches Official Server for Publisher and Game Developer

Discord now is one of the most used options by gamers to communicate with each other easily both inside and outside the game. This also prompted Discord to eventually work with publishers and game developers to launch official servers that are verified.

Later each official server will be run and moderated by a team appointed by the publisher and developers themselves. Some devs that have joined are Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, Minecraft, Supercell and Offworld. Similar to a verified account on Facebook or Twitter, you can find out whether the Discord server is official or not via a check mark next to the photo channel.

Discord itself explained that the verified server will be used by publishers and developers to share the latest updates about their games, and can instantly get feedback or interact with their fans about the update. To anticipate spam, trolls, hate speech and other Discord also allows the owners of servers to remove, manage, and even remove members from their servers when they are considered annoying.
